You Made it Possible – Meet Ajax
Through your generosity in terms of donations, we have been able to select our very FIRST rescue dog.
Please meet the super handsome Ajax, a 3 year old medium crossbreed picked up as a stray rescued by Dogs Trust. He is undergoing a four-week assessment to see if he has what it takes to be an assistance dog and partner a veteran with PTSD. All the signs so far are extremely positive and everyone he has met has fallen under his charm, he is a stunning fella!
Ajax is currently in foster with our fantastic volunteer dog trainer who will be teaching him basic commands in fun ways and making learning and exploring enjoyable. What we do know already, is that he loves being with human and dog friends, he also likes mud and food!
Obviously, it is early days, but we like you to be fully involved with our journey, plus we are too excited not to share! After the assessment Ajax will be partnered with a veteran to start the training process of becoming an assistance dog, we have high hopes and will keep you up to date all the way.
