Welcome to Service Dogs UK An ADI Accredited PTSD Assistance Dog Charity in the UK for both the Armed Forces and Emergency Services, proud to use rescue dogs

Changing lives two at a time for Veterans and ‘rescue’ dogs

Service Dogs UK is proud to be a member of Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK), a voluntary coalition of assistance dog organisations that have all been accredited by a global industry standards body.

All ADUK Members are dedicated to working to the highest training and welfare standards. Through ADUK, we share knowledge and best practice in order to raise awareness of assistance dogs and increase awareness and understanding of the rights of people who rely on them.

Sponsoring a dog on their assistance dog journey is a fantastic way of supporting both our Veterans and rescue dogs.

It’s quick and easy to do – and really can make all the difference to our partnerships working towards achieving full accreditation.

You can sponsor a dog as a gift or in memory of someone too.

Sponsorship starts from as little as £3 per month  – and every penny goes to the charity.

Help us change two lives at a time.

Save a Dog, Help a Veteran and improve the lives of both!

We provide Veterans from the Armed Forces and Emergency Services suffering with PTSD the benefit of specially trained assistance dogs.

Are you a Veteran of the Armed Forces or Emergency Services?

Take part in our PTSD Assistance Dog Programme.

Dogs can make all the difference...

That’s why Service Dogs UK trains and provides PTSD Assistance Dogs, selected carefully from rescue, to support members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services (including Coast Guard & RNLI & UKSAR) who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
