Changing lives, two at a time
Dogs can make all the difference...
That’s why Service Dogs UK trains and provides PTSD Assistance Dogs, selected carefully from rescue, to support members of the Armed Forces and Emergency Services (including Coast Guard & RNLI & UKSAR) who have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Are you a veteran?
Applications are currently open to our PTSD Assistance Dog programme. Service Dogs UK is looking for…
- men and women of the Armed Forces, Emergency Services, Coast Guard, RNLI and UKSAR
- in West Sussex, Surrey and East & North Hampshire,
- with a clinical diagnosis of PTSD.

Want to know the benefits
Our PTSD Assistance Dogs get trained specifically for key PTSD symptoms such as
- nightmares,
- flashbacks,
- anxiety and
- medication reminders…

Be the difference
We rely on your generosity to make a difference to rescue dogs, training to become Assistance Dogs and veterans who are struggling daily with PTSD.
And of course donating and fundraising; we’re still a young charity and all donations are spent on our core activities which are allowing veterans and rescue dogs to go on a mutually beneficial journey to become PTSD Assistance Dog Partnerships.
