Service Dogs UK Named Finalist in BBC Solent Make a Difference Awards 2025!
We are incredibly proud to share that Service Dogs UK has been named a finalist in the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards 2025 in the Animal Award category.
These prestigious awards celebrate individuals and organisations who go above and beyond to make life better for others in their community. To be recognised as a finalist is a powerful acknowledgement of the life-changing work we do—and the impact of the amazing partnerships between our rescue dogs and the veterans and emergency services personnel living with PTSD.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to transform lives through partnerships. By pairing carefully selected rescue dogs with veterans and former emergency service personnel, and supporting them through a comprehensive training journey, we not only give these dogs a second chance—but also offer hope, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose to their human partners.
This recognition from BBC Solent is a testament to the dedication of our incredible team, volunteers, supporters, and, of course, the veterans and rescue dogs at the heart of everything we do.
